APRIL 2006:
- The 2006 Yes I Can! International Awards Program
The Foundation for Exceptional Children established the Yes I Can! International Awards Program in 1981 to acknowledge the achievements of children and youth with disabilities; to overcome barriers caused by public misconceptions; to encourage children and youth with disabilities to seek their highest potential; and to increase public awareness of the abilities, aspirations, and personal qualities of people with disabilities.
Do you know a child or youth with a disability who has made outstanding achievements? Then nominate him or her for a ... Yes I Can! Award

Dystrain - e-learning for those supporting the dyslexic child
Welcome to the Welsh Dyslexia Project/Prosiect Dyslecsia Cymru website for an EU funded project on e-learning for teachers and parents. This website provides details of the project as well as the learning environment for parents and teachers.
Please note that the purpose of the project is to evaluate the system, and to determine what is good for the adult dyslexic learner in an e-learning context. Acceptance to this course is on the basis that everybody must provide feedback to the project in all respects, including accessibility, usability, readability, learnability and human contact.
If you would like to contribute to this project, or would like further information, please write to me Ian Smythe - ian.smythe@ukonline.co.uk
